Be sure to check out the links to NASA's resources on the Solar System and SPARTICL, a new science resource with lots of information about the planets. And to find reliable background information, be sure to use one of the online encyclopedias. Content includes almost 200 full-text science periodicals; over 700 full-text science reference books, multiple full-text science encyclopedias; full-text, full-length biographies, science images, and science videos. A great source for current information as well as background information. Use the tools along the right side of the page to find your MLA citations already prepared for you!

Includes links to Science Reference Center, Middle School Search, MAS Ultra, Student Research Center, and more. Searching here will give you more search results than searching just in Science Reference Center.




Explora offers easy access to reliable information for students in grades 6 - 8. You can find articles published in a wide variety of magazines and newspapers and Explora has text to speech capabilities and provides MLA citations. It's a great place to find good background information on your topic.
