Grandparents and Special Friends Day
Grandparents and Special Friends Day is an eagerly anticipated Wooster tradition. Every year, we invite and encourage grandparents and special friends to visit the Wooster campus, enjoy a nice breakfast, and spend time with their favorite Generals. This is a wonderful time to share Wooster with extended family and friends, and we hope to see you there!
This year's Grandparents and Special Friends Day will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022. Note this is an Event Dress day for all students.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 8:45 am Registration and Breakfast
- 9:00 am Welcome by Head of School, Matt Byrnes
- 9:30 am Student Musical Performances
- 10:00 am Classroom Experiences
- 11:00 am Program Ends and Guests Depart Campus
Please note: This will be a full day of school for ALL students. If a student plans on leaving school early, please follow the regular attendance procedures. Please call or e-mail Anne Gilson anne.gilson@woosterschool.org or (203) 830-3904.
We understand that not all of our student’s grandparents are able to attend, and we want to make sure these students are not left out of the day’s festivities. In the event your child's grandparents cannot attend, we would like to extend an invitation to any older family member or adult friend to join them for the day.
To ensure the safety of our community, we will be monitoring conditions and following current COVID guidelines. In light of conditions, events may be postponed or canceled. All updates will be available on our website. Note, we are currently a mask optional campus.
