To find information about your topic, try one of the Online Databases where you will find magazine and journal articles, reference books, encyclopedia entries as well as images and videos. Student Research Center

Designed for students in Grades 6-12. Includes magazines, newspapers, biographies, country reports, an online dictionary and encyclopedia, film and videos. This is a good place to gather general information about your topic in a variety of sources with just one search.

Makezine has links to projects categorized by type, technology and other criteria. A good place to look for inspiration as well as specific instructions for a particular project.


Exploratorium is a great collection of web resources including information about Engineering and Tinkering.

Instructables offers instructions on how to make pretty much anything.


SCIENCE TOY MAKER

This is a pretty basic site that has a lot of great information about creating a wide variety of objects.


This site is adding new projects regularly and is a great resource if you need a quick idea.

This site is a collection of tutorials and project ideas for working with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Lilypad, circuits, 3D printing, and more.


3D resources:
