Dear Alumni,

Hello from Danbury! Here on campus, we are seeing more signs of spring's return every day, and all the happier for it. There is a wonderful energy here pushing us ahead into the final third of the year.

We are pleased to share our second issue of Alumni Links with you. Below, you'll find updates on Homecoming and Alumni weekend; information and content on what's been happening on campus; and updates to our Alumni Spotlight and Class Notes.

Major Announcements

Homecoming 2021

As we wrote in our recent email, after careful consideration we have made the decision not to pursue a Homecoming for this year. We will instead focus our energies on an in-person fall 2021 event, where we will honor both the classes who were to be reunited in 20-21 (class years ending in 5 and 0) and those for 21-22 (6 and 1). While we're disappointed not to be able to connect on campus this year, be on the lookout for invitations to a number of our spring events, including our Gala.

Homecoming will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, as long as conditions at the time permit us to hold an in-person event.

What's Happening at Wooster

Campus Happenings

Since the last time we wrote, campus has been busy. Through the winter, we alternated having only our Middle or Upper School students on campus. Now, post-Spring Break and as the weather warms and allows us to get outside more, all students are safely on campus together. We are able to do this because our community has bought into the Wooster idea of being a part of something bigger than ourselves, and has embraced the protocols that has kept us safe. To give you a visual sense of what campus has looked like during this time, see below for a video we made to celebrate our outstanding faculty. Don't forget to check out our social media, too!

Annual Appeal

Thank you so much to all alumni who have made a donation to Wooster in this unique year. We are pleased to report that, because of the generosity of our community, we have actually increased our fundraising to date over years past. Thank you for helping us continue to be Stronger, Safer, Together!

WiNK

WiNK (“Wooster Ink”) is our online student news publication. WiNK serves as the student voice of our community, and provides readers with a weekly overview of what's happening in our students' lives. Throughout the school year, WiNK is posted on Fridays to our website. There is perhaps no better place to find the current student voice and, from the students' eyes, the campus goings-on. Please check out what they have to say and don't hesitate to reach out and show them some love if you appreciate what they're doing!

Check out the latest WiNK publication! The Friday, April 2 edition featured a spotlight on Jiani (Ingrid) Li '19.
